Oxfam Landgrabs – Glen, Gary & Ross

BRIEF
Oxfam needed an advert to launch a global campaign against landgrabs, and were adamant that the film be something very different to their usual video work, in order for people to take notice.

PRODUCTION
We produced a film inspired by Alec Baldwin’s iconic scene from ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’, where we see landgrabs from the POV of those doing the grabbing. Shot in two days, using a professional cast and crew, the set was created to match the that of the original film (but with changes to fit Oxfam’s specific needs).

RESULTS
The advert performed strongly on Youtube, and helped inspire a higher retention and donation rate than had previously been seen in online video campaigns.
